Marc Knight founded Knight Construction in 2003 and oversees day-to-day operations including estimating, project management and pre-construction services. He works closely with owners on every aspect of a project from beginning to end. After graduating in 1997 from Texas A&M University’s School of Construction Science, Marc began his career with Baker Concrete Construction as a Project Engineer working on projects like the Moody Gardens Hotel, Aquarium and Central Plant in Galveston, Texas. In 1998, Marc joined Workman Corporation in Austin as a Project Manager. During his five years with Workman, he was promoted to Head Estimator and worked on a wide range of projects from office and retail to industrial.

Active in the Austin community, Marc served on the board of directors of the Young Men’s Business League’s Austin Sunshine Camps as Vice President of the Zilker Park and Lake Travis Camps. He has been a member of the Austin Children’s Museum Men’s Fundraising Committee, and he is an active member of All Saints Presbyterian Church. He and his wife support the Busby Foundation for ALS, Wonders & Worries, Austin Children’s Museum and Caritas of Austin. When Marc is not on the construction site, he enjoys flying as a private pilot, playing tennis on a local USTA league team, or fly fishing in the Hill Country and Colorado
